Whether you wish to enjoy a sophisticated meal as a couple or plan an event with 200 people: you will find what you are looking for high above the Rhine Falls at Schloss Laufen. Each room, each hall, has its own character. The sophisticated interior and harmonic colours create the right atmosphere.
We present you with seasonal cuisine from the region with an international touch. Fine, tempting desserts complete the culinary offering. Naturally, we advise you regarding the appropriate wine.
With your wishes, our competent advice and experience and our regional partners, we lend an individual note to your event to match any season.
The illumination of the castle during the winter season is magical. Experience this spectacular backdrop as a start to your Christmas event. Castle lighting from 15 November to 19 January 2025. Winter lounge, tent and chalet Enjoy the lounge by the crackling fire under a starry sky or warm up yourself in our cosy tent. For your event followed by a dinner in the castle, we will also be pleased to make a reservation for you in the outdoor area: Lounge (up to 20 seats, covered), terrace (up to 20 seats, 4 standing tables with 6 seats each; not covered) and the tent (with a bar, 4 bar chairs, covered). For events with up to 150 people, we recommend reserving the inner courtyard and/or castle courtyard for a standing apéro.

Enjoy a fondue chinoise à discrétion in the fairytale-lit castle, high above Europe's largest waterfall. (Illumination until 19 January).
Enjoy a cosy get-together with privacy over a delicious meal and reserve an exclusive room in the stylish castle ambience: e.g. the round tower (up to 17 people). We will be happy to advise you on the selection of rooms of different sizes.
Schloss Laufen is reached within 40 minutes from Zurich and just 10 minutes from Schaffhausen.
Night trains on Friday and Saturday until 04:00 at railway station «Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall», direction Winterthur and Schaffhausen with connecting trains to Zurich and St. Gallen.
