Electric filling station
Location: Car park Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall, by the Visitor Centre.
Four electric charging stations, each with two charging spaces for vehicles (operator: 360 degree energy). Including a rapid charging station from Gotthard Fastcharge AG. At the rapid charging station, electric cars can be charged with up to 80 kilowatts in 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the vehicle type, which is sufficient for a range of some 200 kilometres.

From Zurich:
Take the A4 in the direction of St. Gallen; continue on to Schaffhausen at the Winterthur exit. Take the Dachsen/Rheinfall exit to Schloss Laufen. Follow the signs to the car park.

From Basel:
Take the A3 in the direction of Zurich, follow Nordring Zürich, then the A4 towards St. Gallen; continue on to Schaffhausen at the Winterthur exit. Take the Dachsen/Rheinfall exit to Schloss Laufen. Follow the signs to the car park.

From Bern:
Take the A1 in the direction of Zurich, follow Nordring Zürich, then the A4 towards St. Gallen; continue on to Schaffhausen at the Winterthur exit. Take the Dachsen/Rheinfall exit to Schloss Laufen. Follow the signs to the car park.

Arrival with public transport

From Zurich:
Take the S12 train from Zurich Mainstation directly to «Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall» railway station or take the train to Winterthur, then the S33 to the railway station «Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall». Last train to Winterthur at 23:51.

From Schaffhausen:
Take the S33 or S12 train to the «Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall» station. Last train to Schaffhausen at 00:36.

Night trains on Friday and Saturday until 04:00 at railway station «Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall», direction Winterthur and Schaffhausen with connecting trains to Zurich and St. Gallen.

Luggage storage
Please note that we are unable to provide any luggage storage. We recommend that you deposit your luggage at one of the large SBB train stations, or to leave it in a luggage locker there.

Arrival by bike or e-bike

No driving on the castle ground.
Please use the signposted bicycle parking spaces.

Tickets
Tickets for visitors in a wheelchair or with a pram can only be obtained in the Visitor Centre.

Arrival by train at the «Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall» station
Entry/exit possible with assistance.
Step-free access from the station to the panoramic lift and Visitor Centre.
Passengers in wheelchairs can get personal boarding and deboarding assistance with a mobile ramp if they register in advance. Please register at the SBB Contact Center Handicap.
